Obituary:

Robert Melvin Pratt, 69 of Mtn. Grove, MO passed away on April 30, 2017.  He was born on January 22, 1948 in Spencer, IA the son of Clyde O. and Beverly A. (Santage) Pratt.

Robert served in the US Navy during the 1960's and after his honorable discharge he worked as a mechanic until retirement.  Robert was united in marriage to Vereen Ruth Summers on March 14, 1980.

Robert is survived by his wife of 37 years, Vereen Ruth of the home; 3 sons, George Fitzcharles of Mtn. Grove, Theodore Fitzcharles of Cabool and Robert Pratt, Jr of Bonne Terre, MO; 1 daughter, Beverly Hartley of Ava, MO; 16 grandchildren and 1 great granddaughter; 1 brother, Larry E. Pratt of Salem, MO; 2 sisters, Pat of Colorado and Norma of San Bernardino, CA; as well numerous other family and friends.
