Obituary:

Rosa Catherine "Cathy" Grogan, 80 of Cabool, MO passed away on Sunday, November 29, 2020 at the Kabul Nursing Home. She was born on June 22, 1940 in Vanzant, Missouri the daughter of Andrew Lane Emery and Sadie Genevieve (Coble) Emery.

Cathy loved playing bingo, bowling and selling Avon after retiring from the Brown Shoe Factory. She was an auxiliary member of  VFW Post 3770 and attended Elk Creek Baptist Church prior to her illness. She was a doting grandmother and very proud of her two grandchildren: Joshua who is finishing up his bachelor's in Business Administration at Belmont University in Nashville, Tennessee and Alyssa who is finishing up her PhD in Counselor Education and Supervision at The University of Mississippi in Oxford, Mississippi.

Cathy was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Rodger "Dale" Grogan; her first husband, Rodger Grogan; second husband, Kenneth Reed Wood; sister, Janice Lee Lawson and brother, Lane Leroy Emery.

She is survived by her son, Kenneth Alan Wood and wife, Jana Wood; grandchildren, Joshua and Alyssa Wood; sister, Donna Hannabon and longtime boyfriend, Donnie Luton.
