Obituary:

Ruth Margaret Burch, 86 of Cabool, MO passed away on Wednesday, January 30, 2013 at the Texas County Memorial Hospital in Houston, MO. She was born on December 10, 1926 at Tyrone, MO the daughter of Robert and Sarah (Martin) Aldridge; she was the youngest of nine children.

Ruth was united in marriage to Leland Burch on August 28, 1945 and to this union two children were born; a son, Leland, Jr. and a daughter, Sarah Beth.

She worked for many years at the Cabool Shoe Factory and later as a waitress at the El Rancho Café. She and her husband were avid bowlers and participated in many out-of-town tournaments. Ruth also loved to fish and often caught more than her husband and son. She referred to herself as an "old-fashioned cook" and took pleasure in preparing family meals that always included Nana's noodles.

Ruth was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Leland Burch; her daughter, Sarah Beth Title and eight siblings. She is survived by her son, Leland Burch, Jr and wife, Yvonne of Springfield, MO; granddaughter, Sonnet Bolin and great grandson, Alex of Festus, MO; grandson, Nathan Burch and wife, Leannah and great grandchildren Alexis, Alyssa and Javan of Aurora, MO; grandson, Andrew Burch and wife, Raschell of Gilbert AZ; as well as several nieces and nephews.
