IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Ruth E.
(Hudson) Brazeal
September 16, 1930 – August 2, 2017
Ruth Elizabeth (Hudson) Brazeal was born on September 16, 1930 in Independence, Kansas. She passed away Wednesday, August 2, 2017 at the age of 86. Ruth was the daughter of Edgar Lee Hudson and Velma Susie Burroughs. She was the eldest of 8 children.
Ruth dedicated her life as one of Jehovah's Witnesses at an early age of eleven on July 13, 1941. She loved being one of Jehovah's Witnesses helping others to learn of the Bible's wonderful hope serving full time in this work for many years and was still active at the time of her passing. She looked forward every month to watching the new monthly broadcast on the jw broadcasting site. They were always an encouragement to her.
Ruth married Chester Brazeal on April 30, 1961. Together they enjoyed many theocratic activities while he served as city overseer for Jehovah's Witnesses in Tulsa, Oklahoma. They also operated a mobile home sales business. This led to them traveling and meeting many people whom they valued getting to know.
Ruth enjoyed the outdoors appreciating the beauty of flowers and birds. This was recognized by many by the beautiful flower garden outside their home and business. She also had great fun in going to yard sales and seeing what treasures she could find to add to her various collections.
Ruth was preceded in death by her husband Chester, her parents and siblings Henry Hudson, Gene Hudson and Martha Hudson. Ruth is survived by siblings Tracy Hudson (Karen) of Golden, Colorado, William Hudson (Yvonne) of Cabool, Missouri, John Hudson (Shirley) of Lebanon, Missouri and Esther Matthews (Jim) of Rolla, Missouri. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
