Obituary:

Sandra Gay Rolland, 73 of Mtn. Grove, MO passed away on May 5, 2020 at the Autumn Oaks Caring Center in Mtn. Grove after a hard fight with cancer. She was born on July 15, 1946 in Cabool, MO the daughter of George Ward and Hazel Dell (Hall) Gan.

Sandra lived several places around the country before coming back to the area and making her home. She was an avid horse person; belonging to many organizations in one capacity or another. She also wrote several books on Arabian horses, as those were her passion.

Sandra was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Rhonda Maxine Gilbert. She is survived by her sons, Ward Rolland and family of Mtn. Grove, MO and Bruce Rolland of Paris, MO; a brother, Gary Gan of Mtn. Grove, MO; two sisters, Taska Zulke of Waverly, NE and Nada Johnston of Cabool, MO; several nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews and many friends. She will be dearly missed by all those who knew and loved her.
