Obituary:

Shane Leon Masterson, 53 of Mtn. Grove, MO passed away on November 12, 2014.  He was born on July 21, 1961 in Jacksonville, Florida.

Shane was exceptional in many different ways to many different people. He loved his children and tried to be a good father to them. He was proud of them and strived to help them achieve their full potential. Shane was respected in the business community for his vision and skills in construction. He could look at a piece of ground and see something that others could not. He was loved and will be greatly missed by many.

Shane was preceded in death by his mother, Carolyn Alexander Escobar of Texas; his grandmother, Maxine Kaut of Missouri; sister, Monty Michelle Gibson of Texas and brother, Shawn Jeffrey Masterson of Missouri.  He is survived by his sons, Brandon Garrison of Oklahoma, Shane Masterson Jr. of Missouri and Franklin Kelly Masterson of Missouri; daughters, Stevie Lynn Masterson of Colorado and Gracie Mae Masterson of Missouri; sisters, Teresa Lynn Masterson and Kim Smith of Missouri; brother, Dean Rice, of Missouri and several nieces and nephews.
