Steven Lee Strong, 58 of Cabool, MO passed away on Thursday, April 13, 2017 at the Cox South Medical Center in Springfield, MO.  He was born on February 18, 1959 in Davenport, IA the son of Bernie and Edna (Smith) Strong.

Steve lived most of his life in Cabool; he worked as a carpenter and was very good at what he done.  He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends; he loved to play his guitar, sing and tell how Jesus changed his life.  He was a member of the Maness Memorial Baptist Church in Cabool.

Steve was preceded in death by his father, Bernie; a brother, Michael and two sisters, Helen Sears and Sandi Wake.  He is survived by his daughters, Melissa, Amy and Christine; three grandchildren, Tommy, Tara and Timmy; his mother, Edna Strong; his brother, Dallas Strong and wife, Karen; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.  He will be dearly missed by all those who knew and loved him.
