Steven Lee Winstead, 60 of Seymour, MO passed away on Friday, January 7, 2022 at Mercy Hospital in Springfield, MO from complications of Covid-19. He was born on February 5, 1961 in Beebe, AR one of seven children of Charles and Adeline Winstead.

Steve graduated from Cabool High School and was married to Tina Marsh on Sept. 14, 1984 and to this union three children were born. Steven was a loving husband and father; he always worked hard to provide for his family and was always willing to help his neighbors and friends when they were in need.

Steven started drywall construction after graduation from high school and continued with this all his life. He ran his own construction business and made many friends that he called family. He loved fishing and barbecue; he prepared and shared his products with friends and family. Steve loved the BBQ competitions and looked forward to firing up his grills.

Steven was preceded in death by his parents and a daughter, Christina. He is survived by his wife, Tina; son, Justin Winstead; daughter, Megan Winstead; brothers, Danny, Donald, Robert and Timmy Winstead; sisters, Leona Holycross and Diane Hall; as well as several nieces and nephews. He will be dearly missed by all those who knew and loved him.
