Obituary:

Ted Lee Stapp, 61 of Cabool, MO went to be with the Lord on June 16, 2021.  He was born on January 31, 1960 to Dorothy and Clarence Stapp in Houston, MO.

Ted received Jesus Christ as his personal Lord and Savior at a young age at Cabool Christian Church.  He graduated from Cabool High School in 1978 and attended college at SMSU in Springfield, MO.  He was united in marriage to Cathy White on May 12, 1984.  They were married for 37 years.

Ted was a motivated, intelligent, hard-working man.  He loved to read and spend time with his family at his home in Cabool, where he spent many hours riding around and sitting by the fire.  Ted & Cathy never had any children of their own, but made up for it with their fur babies, nieces, nephews, & great nieces & nephews who liked to refer to him as Uncle Teddy Bear.  He was a man of few words but he always managed to say exactly what needed to be heard.

He was preceded in death by his parents.  He is survived by one brother Steve Stapp & Gail Martin of Cabool, three sisters, Karin (Roger) Rader, Donna (Paul) Ames, & Patti (Steve) Mitchem all of Springfield, MO, as well as many nieces, nephews, & great nieces & nephews.  It cannot be put into words how deeply he will be missed.
