Forever in Our Hearts.
It’s with heavy hearts and sadness that we announce the passing of Thelma Lee Beavers Seymour. Born on April 28th 1943 in Darlington, Maryland. She passed away peacefully on May 22nd 2026 at the age of 83 surrounded by loving family.
Thelma Lee Beavers Seymour is preceded in death by her siblings Barry James, Laura Smith, Nancy Rockstroh, and Beth Bosley as well as her parents Barnett and Mary James. Both of her husbands Clyde Beavers and Raymond Seymour. Her son Michael Beavers. Her grandson Dana Nenni. Her granddaughter Chrissy Beavers and her great granddaughters Jayden Beavers and Issa Howell.
Thelma Lee Beaver Seymour will be deeply missed and is survived by her siblings George James and Roy James. Her four children Clyde Beavers, Carr Beavers, Cindy Ortega and Ida Williams with her husband David Williams. As well as 23 grandchildren 63 great grandchildren and 7 great great grandchildren plus several other family and friends.
Thelma was born and raised in Maryland where she met her husband Clyde Beavers of 46 years. They resided in West Virginia and lived there until moving to Missouri in 1978. They owned a dairy farm for many years and during that time Thelma also owned and ran a restaurant in Mountain Grove. Several years later she married Raymond Seymour and they loved to travel the US on their Harley. She loved to have fun and to make people laugh and of course make sure that they were fed. She loved to dance and would go to any dances she could find up until the time of her passing. She always put her family first, loved all of them unconditionally with her whole heartand they loved her the same. She was true joy and was full of life.Thelma was a devoted and loving mother, talented dancer and a devoted friend. She brought joy to every life she touched and leaves behind a legacy of love, kindness and laughter. Her life was a blessing to all, her memory will be treasured always, as she was loved beyond words and she will be missed beyond measure and they loved her the same. She was true joy and was full of life.Thelma was a devoted and loving mother, talented dancer and a devoted friend. She brought joy to every life she touched and leaves behind a legacy of love, kindness and laughter. Her life was a blessing to all, her memory will be treasured always, as she was loved beyond words and she will be missed beyond measure.
