Tony Wayne Emery, 46 of Mtn. Grove, MO passed away on Wednesday, Sept. 10, 2014 in Springfield, MO. He was born on January 27, 1968 in Houston, MO the son of Fred and Shirley (McCarty) Emery.

Tony grew up in Mtn. Grove where he attended and graduated from Mtn. Grove High School with the class of 1986. Tony was united in marriage to Tanya Blackmon on Sept. 12, 2004. He was one of 14 siblings and family was very important to him growing up. He enjoyed the outdoors, hunting and fishing; but most of all spending time with his boys, his many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Tony was preceded in death by his father, Fred Emery; a brother, Luther Emery; a niece, Melany Emery and a great niece, Payzlie Noble. He is survived by his wife, Tanya of Mtn. Grove; his mother, Shirley Emery of Mtn. Grove; sons, Travis and Tyler Gauch of Mtn. Grove; a great niece, Emily McCall of Mtn. Grove; six brothers, Tom Emery of Springfield, Randy Emery of Wichita, KS, John Emery, Fred Emery, David Emery and Chris Emery all of Mtn. Grove; six sisters, Linda Noble of Mtn. Grove, Tammy Mitchell of Mtn. Grove, Betty Tarrants of Houston, Mellissa Wilhite of Hartville, Charlotte Emery of Ozark and Margie Emery of Mtn. View; as well as many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Tony was a wonderful man with a huge heart and will be missed by all those who knew and loved him.
