Obituary:

Travistina Viola Griffis, 33 of Elk Creek, MO passed away on Friday, January 22, 2016 at her home. She was born on November 24, 1982 in Orange Park, FL the daughter of Travis Amon Griffis and Brenda Louise Barber.

Travistina was born in Florida and moved around to Virginia, Nebraska and settling in Missouri to stay close to family. She made friends everywhere she went. She never met a stranger and was loved by everyone. Her loss will be felt not just locally but across the country.

Travistina was preceded in death by several relatives including both sets of grandparents and uncles Jesse Barber, Jim Barber, Allen Fortune and Robert Fortune. She is survived by her daughter, Kaylin Griffis; her husband, Jason Butler; her parents, Brenda and Parke Stevens Sr. and Amon Griffis; sisters, Misty Griffis, Emma Barrett, Mary O'Donnell and Brittany Griffis; brothers, Harold Stevens and Parke Stevens Jr.; nieces, Alexandra Cochran, Paytin Barrett, Erica Johnson, Everly June; nephews, Gavin Barrett, Travis Griffis and Bentley Kilbury and many cousins.
