Velvie Lucille Curry, 80 of Cabool, MO peacefully passed away on Tuesday, December 2, 2014 surrounded by loved ones at the Willow Care Nursing Home in Willow Springs, MO. She was born on December 7, 1933 in Pottersville, MO the daughter of the late Clarence "Bud" and Nadine (Arnold) May.

Velvie always had a song to God on her lips and in her heart. She was a long time member of the Cabool Church of Christ.

Velvie is survived by her husband of 57 years, Donald E. Curry of Cabool, MO; three sons, Timothy Earl and wife, Joetta, Mark Anthony and John Bill Curry all of Cabool, MO; two grandchildren, Jeffrey and wife, Jeanna and Rebekah Curry; two great grandchildren; two brothers, Dewayne May and wife, Joyce and Herbert May and wife, Kay; as well as many nieces and nephews. She was loved by everyone who knew her and will be missed by all.
