Vera Glorine Harris was born in Poplar Bluff, Missouri on November 1st,1942 the daughter of Frank and Marguerite Harris. She passed away on March 4th 2022 at the age of 79.

Vera is survived by her two sons Tim of Cabool, Missouri and Tod of West Plains, Missouri; grandchildren Tenera and Satchel and great grandchildren Jax and Nova.

Vera met the love of her life at Point Lookout, Missouri while attending School of The Ozarks. Both Jim and Vera credit College of The Ozarks for giving them an education they otherwise could not afford. Jim Rose would tell anybody that would listen that "Babes" was the best thing to ever happen to him.

Vera taught first grade at Cabool Missouri and later served on the School board. The Cabool School District was her passion and she loved Cabool. The generosity of Vera Rose and Jim Rose has been felt by many through Scholarships and other gestures.

Vera was preceded in death by her husband Jim, father Frank Harris and mother Marguerite Harris. She is survived by a sister Pat and husband Ed; Sister-in-law Carlene and husband David: Brother-in-law Joe and wife, Debbie; nephews, Ashley, Danny, Jeffrey, niece Samantha and many friends
