Vera Louise Stephens, 80 of Cabool, MO passed away on Thursday, September 3, 2015 at the Willow Care Nursing Home in Willow Springs, MO after a long battle with numerous health issues. She was born on August 28, 1935 in Willow Springs, MO the daughter of Ernest and Hettie (Collins) McDaniel.

Louise accepted Christ as her Savior and enjoyed attending church as long as her health permitted. She looked forward to reading her Bible every day. Louise was united in marriage to Normal "Friday" Stephens on January 31, 1964 and to this union one daughter, Sherry was born.

Louise was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Friday. She is survived by her daughter, Sherry Matthews and husband, Robbie; her two granddaughters, Mikaela and Marissa (who were the light of her life) all of Cabool, MO and her brother, Gene McDaniel and wife, Chris of Willow Springs, MO. She will be dearly missed by those who knew and loved her, including the staff of Willow Care who were so good to her during her last months.
