Obituary:

Virgil Delmar Peachee, 91 of Cabool, MO passed away peacefully at his home on Sept. 24, 2017.  He was born on Jan. 5, 1926 near Cabool, the son of Frank and Anna (Lane) Peachee.  He accepted Jesus as his Lord and Savior at a young age.

Delmar joined the US Navy in March of 1944 and proudly served as a Motor Machinist Mate on the U.S.S LCS 24 as part of the Pacific Fleet until receiving his honorable discharge in May of 1946.

Delmar was united in marriage to his sweetheart, Mable Stark on November 7, 1946 and to this union three children were born; Tippy, Carolyn and Pam.  The family loved camping, fishing, boating and picnics; and Delmar was always there to make it happen.  He worked for Red Top Gas in Cabool as a dependable service man for 35 years.

Delmar was preceded in death by his parents and his loving wife of 67 years, Mable.  He is survived by his son, Tippy Peachee and wife Janie of Garland, TX; his daughters, Carolyn White and husband, Danny of Springfield, MO and Pam Brown and husband, Darrell of Cabool, MO; nine grandchildren, Teresa Cody, Rachael Marrow, Samantha Peachee, Brandon Brown, Ben Brown, Chelsea Melton, Casey White, Patrick Peachee and Justin Peachee; nine great grandchildren; many nieces, nephews, loved ones and dear friends.
