Obituary:
Virginia Lee Elliott, 69 of Cabool, MO passed away on Oct. 1, 2015 just two days before her 70th birthday. She was born on Oct. 3, 1945 the daughter of Roscoe and Opal (Skyles) Altis. She attended Cabool Schools and graduated with the Class of 1963.
Virginia attended Providence Freewill Baptist Church where she was Saved and Baptized at an early age. She was united in marriage to Gary Elliott on April 5, 1964 and to this union 3 sons were born, James Dale, Michael Scott and J.C.
Virginia was preceded in death by her parents and a son, James Dale on February 4, 2003 and two half-brothers, Nolan and Dale Altis. She is survived by two sons, Michael Scott (Marie) Elliott of Cabool, MO and J.C. Elliott of Springfield, MO; six grandchildren, Samantha, Perry (Ashley), Patrick (Erica), Rebecca, Cecil and Michael; 9 great grandchildren, Remington Gage Elliott, Skyler Lee Elliott, Chase Michael Elliott, Isabella Raine Elliott, Jacelyn Raine Elliott, Sean Patrick Elliott, Misty Dawn Elliott, Promise Brianne Labbee and Morgan Riley Labbee; half-sister, Juanita Henderson; half-sister-in-law, Ann Altis; two uncles, Richard (Kaye) Skyles and Robert Lee (Carla) Skyles; a special friend, Ann Mitchell; as well as several nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends.
