Obituary:

Wanda Marie Noel was born on July 23, 1924 and passed away Tuesday, July 18, 2017 just shy of her 93rd birthday. She was a walking dynamo for almost 30 years as people in Cabool and Republic already know. She lived in Cabool for over 80 years before moving to Republic in 2006. She worked in the shoe factory industry for 35 years and when she retired, started a second career of quilting beautiful quilts for family, friends, and acquaintances from as far as Texas.

She is preceded in death by her husband Kenneth Noel and her parents Arch and Bertha Rust. She is survived by her sister, Maxine O'Dell of Vanceburg, KY; daughter, Bonnie Thomas (Bill) of Olathe, KS; sons, Larry Noel (Cheryl) of Yukon, OK; and Ronny Noel (Teresa) of Republic, MO. She was loved by grandchildren Matthew Noel (Carissa), Alex Thomas (Courtney), Tyler Thomas (Kayla), Emily Sigman, and Morgan Brown. She will be greatly missed by her four great-grandchildren Landin, Riley, and Zoey Sigman and 5 month old Joy Thomas along with many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
