Obituary:

Waymond Rex Croy, 83 of Willow Springs, MO passed away on Nov. 9, 2019 at his home. He was born on July 15, 1936 in Trilla, IL the son of Harry and Grace (Randolph) Croy. He was raised in Strasburg, IL and graduated from Windsor High School.

After graduation he worked on the farm and at a Caterpillar Plant before enlisting in the US Army where he proudly served until 1963 when he received his honorable discharge. While in the Army he met and married Imgrad Leifke and to this union three children were born, Steve, Lisa and Danny.

Waymond spent the majority of his working years as a truck driver and continued to drive until the age of 72. On July 21, 1986 he was united in married to Mary Kavanaugh in Henderson, KY. They traveled to every continental state except for North and South Dakota while he worked as an over the road trucker.

Waymond was preceded in death by his parents; an infant brother; his first wife, Imgrad; his wife, Mary and a son-in-law, Alfred Arrant. He is survived by his children, Steve Croy and wife, Tina of Windsor, IL, Lisa Arrant of Rock Hill, SC and Danny Croy and wife, Sheryl of Neoga, IL; 8 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. He will be dearly missed by all those who knew and loved him.
