Wayne (Chuck) Anson Polm Jr, 69 of Cabool, MO was born in Sayre, Pennsylvania on September 30,1951 to Wayne and Edna Polm. The family moved to Cabool in 1956.
He was wed to Virginia Creed where they made a home in Cabool and from that union they had 8 children. He made a living and provided for his family by being a truck driver for 46 years.
Wayne loved the Lord and was saved and baptized in 2005. He attended the Willow Springs Freewill Baptist Church in Mtn. Grove, MO. He had a love for his family and enjoyed singing, fishing, family get-togethers, spending time with his kids and grandkids. He enjoyed drinking coffee and visiting with various people at The Grove restaurant.
Wayne battled with cancer for 16 years and to hear him talk about it, he would always say he was grateful for it because it brought him to have a relationship with the Lord.
Wayne was preceded in death by his parents, Wayne and Edna; 4 brothers, Sonny, Rick, Kenny and William (Bill) and 1 sister, Rene. He is survived by a sister, Debra Conway of Steele; his 8 children, Diana Lynn Garner and husband, Randy of Cabool, Patricia Burke of Mansfield, Ken (Bud) Polm and wife, April of Cabool, Teresa Edwards and husband, Jeff of Mtn. Grove, Ginny Blackman of Cabool, Darrell Polm and wife, Vedeana of Cabool, Kimberly Parsons and husband, Brian of Mtn. Grove and Jackie Polm and wife, Shawnna of Ohio; 26 grandchildren, Randy Garner, Brandon Garner, Heather Garner, Kayla Warden, LaTisha Cantrell, Natasha Burke, Kenny Barnes, Samantha Stilley, Aly McMinn, Kammi Jenkins, Keiven Polm, Trenton Polm, Zach Edwards, Misti Waldorf, Brandi Gidcumb, Tristan Gidcumb, Paige Hesley, Dani Ratteree, Hannah Wilson, Haley Wilson, Bobby Polm, Toby Polm, Cody Polm, Hesston Polm, Wyatt Polm, Baxter Polm, and many "adopted" grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Wayne (Chuck) was loved by many and will be greatly missed. He had a great sense of humor and always had the right thing to say to bring laughter to any room. We will miss him saying "I am the most humble, modest and handsome guy you will ever meet".
