Obituary:

William J. Babb, Jr, 78 of Willow Springs, MO passed away on Friday, Oct. 10, 2014 at the Republic Nursing and Rehab Center in Republic, MO. He was born on Jan. 21, 1936 in St. Joseph, MO the son of William, Sr. and Evelyn (Ferguson) Babb.

William was united in marriage to Judith Hale and to this union five children were born. They moved their family to the Willow Springs area in 1968. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and being outdoors. He was a hard worker, farming most of his life, but he was capable and willing to do anything that needed to be done.

William was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Judith on July 25, 2012 and two sisters. He is survived by his children, William J. Babb, III and wife, Christina, Cindy Wagner and husband, Fred, Charles Babb and wife, Susan, Jim Babb and wife, Rita and John Babb and wife, Mary Lynn; 6 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. He will be dearly missed by all those who knew and loved him.
