William "Bill" Ray Perry, 62, of Cibolo, Texas, passed away on Friday, October 23, 2015 in San Antonio, Texas. He was born on March 2, 1953 to Ray and Helen (Smith) Perry of Cabool, MO. Bill grew up in Cabool and graduated from Cabool High School in 1971.
Bill was united in marriage on November 9 th , 1974 to Mary Beth (Coffman) from neighboring Mountain Grove, MO. After four years of active duty in the United States Air Force, he finished his degree at Central Missouri State University and later obtained an MBA from Penn State University.
Upon graduation from Central Missouri State University, Bill started his career at Florida Power and Light. He then enjoyed a varied career in industry, which led to his most recent position as Plant Manager of Johnson Controls Large Tonnage Chiller Plant in San Antonio, Texas.
Bill was an avid runner and completed several half marathons. Some of his favorites were the Rock 'N Roll Marathons. In addition to running, Bill enjoyed playing golf and woodworking when time allowed. He also enjoyed spending time with his family and traveling.
Bill was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife, Mary Beth of the home; sister, Diana Perry of Berkeley, California; brother, Jim Perry and wife, Lori of Cabool; daughter, Amanda Garrett and husband, Chris and grandsons, William, Jacob, and Braden of Canton, Georgia; daughter, Kristen LoGreco and husband, Mark and grandson, Grayson of San Antonio, Texas; daughter, Ashley Bement and husband, Zach and grandson, Carter of Columbia, Illinois; and three nephews.
