William Jerome Swacina, 68 of Mtn. Grove, MO passed away on Saturday, January 24, 2015 at his home. He was born on May 30, 1946 in Sioux Falls, SD the son of Rupert and Jaquelin (Robison) Swacina.

William enlisted in the US Army with the Army Security Agency and served during the Vietnam War. He lived in various locations after receiving his honorable discharge until settling in San Jose, CA where he worked for Hewlett-Packard Computer Company.

William was united in marriage to Judith Gossett in 1979 and they moved to Mtn. Grove in 1985. He then started working at Ft. Leonard Wood in weapons repair and inspection until his retirement in December of 2013.

William was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Gordon Swacina. He is survived by his wife, Judith Swacina of the home; a sister, Erin Marquardt of Westminster,   CO; a sister-in-law, Barbara Swacina of Elk Creek, MO; four nieces, Monique Ray, Trinity Cox, Shasta Miller and Christine Swacina and two nephews, Joshua Swacina and Shawn Swacina. He will be dearly missed by all those who knew and loved him.
